Continuing with the Irish theme...

Nick Miller's Truck View, Lough Skean is a large drawing on paper. Miller works in a mobile studio (a truck). He drives to a location he wishes to draw and opens the back doors of the truck and draws what he sees until his paper can't take anymore. 

Miller is a self trained artist his work is full of energy and mystery. A show of these drawings was up at the Rubicon Gallery in January and February of 2008. After I saw this show Miller gave a talk at the Burren he seems like a really cool guy with interesting ideas.
